Italy’s Marcello Lippi says he’s happy to play against Brazil in World Cup qualifier

Lippi has a busy summer ahead, with a host of international commitments and two games in Brazil on his calendar.

The midfielder has been a regular fixture in Italy’s starting line-up this season, and after a slow start to the campaign, he has been rewarded with a call-up to the squad.

Lippi’s return to action will come against the Brazilian side in Sao Paulo on Friday, July 10, when they face Italy.

Italy’s first match in Brazil will be a friendly against Brazil’s national team on Thursday, July 11, in Sao Jose dos Campanas, Brazil.
