By Al Jazeera StaffIt’s been a month since Donald Trump took office, and his administration has made significant strides in implementing its agenda.
However, some areas remain controversial and contentious.
On Wednesday, for example, the US Supreme Court ruled against a petition to temporarily halt the president’s travel ban.
The court also upheld the executive order signed by Trump, which banned travel to the United States by people from six predominantly Muslim countries.
The president has since appealed the ruling, arguing the decision was unconstitutional.
The travel ban has been implemented, but it remains unclear whether Trump’s executive order will be overturned by the Supreme Court.
