Hawaiian Kitchen Trash Can Goes Off Without A Bang

The Hawaii Kitchen Trash can goes off without a bang, with the contents of a cardboard box, some paint cans, some cans of paint and a few cans of lint and grease on it.

A Hawaii Department of Land and Natural Resources (DLNR) spokesperson confirmed the trash can went off on Tuesday afternoon in the town of Nalui.

It is the first time a garbage can has gone off in the state.

DLNR said the trash container was damaged and it has been taken to a local recycling center.

This is the second trash can that went off in Nalu, which is located at the southern tip of Kauai.

On March 24, the same container exploded in Kauai, causing a $500,000 damage.
