When you’re planning a holiday, it’s best to check the kitchen supply store before buying anything.
The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) has issued warnings about how consumers can be tricked into thinking they’ve bought a kitchen table chair, or that a kitchen chair is a “kitchen sex” item.
“A consumer who buys a kitchen sex chair and thinks they’ve found the perfect one can be fooled,” ACCC Chairman Rod Sims said in a statement.
When you’re buying a kitchen furniture, the consumer may be thinking of “Kitchen Sex”, and it is a kitchen item, Mr Sims said.
The ACCC has issued a warning to consumers to make sure they’ve actually bought a Kitchen Sex chair.
A person who purchases a Kitchen sex chair without a kitchen in mind will be more likely to be tricked.
It is best to avoid kitchen sex items, such as Kitchen Sex chairs, because they’re not considered to be kitchen sex products, according to the ACCC.
Consumer Protection Commissioner Sarah Harrison said consumers had a right to know the full extent of kitchen sex merchandise before making a purchase.
People should also check the store to ensure the item is for their purpose and not for use as a sex toy, she said.
“It’s important that people make sure that when they’re shopping for a kitchen toy that it’s not a sex item.”
