‘Kitchen Nightmares’ mixers are helping people cope with the apocalypse

It’s a world where people are not just living in a dark, claustrophobic world, but one in which they’re also experiencing the apocalypse.

A mixture of old-fashioned cocktails and modern innovations are helping some of the Irish mixers who work at pubs and restaurants cope with their post-apocalyptic future.

The Whiskey Kitchen, for instance, are using ingredients from a modern, natural-foods approach, and they’ve taken the distillery to task for its “disaster-themed cocktails”.

“We are using the old recipe to recreate the taste of the old times, and to enhance the traditional flavours of the drink.”

Mr Connolly said the mixer team would have a long term plan to keep the distiller’s name alive and to provide them with financial support to continue their work.

They will continue to take donations to keep going.
